Welcome prospective students! Learn more about scholarship awards and opportunities available to prospective/new engineering students at the Baskin School of Engineering.
The Amy Beth Snader Memorial Scholarship was established in 1992 in honor of its namesake, an alumna of UCSC in Computer and Information Sciences, with the purpose to help women undergraduates in Computer Science. The goal of the scholarship is to attract more women to UCSC to pursue engineering degrees, though male and female applicants are considered for this award. Amy Beth Snader scholarships are renewable awards that provide up to $16,000 of financial support over four years (up to $4,000 each year for four years) for students who continue to meet eligibility requirements. Students who wish to be considered for the Snader Scholarship should indicate a Baskin Engineering major or the undeclared advising cluster “Engineering and Computing.” Students must also complete all required federal and state financial aid forms in order to be considered.
